Volunteers

We are launching ChangingThePresent, the first comprehensive nonprofit donation portal in November. As a nonprofit, they don't have money for lots of staff and advertising. So we need people who care about making the world a better place to help in various ways.

Rails Programmers

We seek Rails programmers to volunteer some time to help with our upcoming launch of ChangingThePresent.org, the new online nonprofit marketplace described above.

This may be the greatest opportunity to use programming skills and a few hours of extra time to make an impact on such causes as hunger, education, the environment, and others, as well as an opportunity to participate in what we expect to be the largest Rails website. Researchers (non-technical)

For each of our 33 causes, there are many magazines, websites, newsletters, listserves, chat rooms, organizations, professional associations, etc. that can help us reach people who care about that cause. Volunteers (one per cause) are researching the communication channels for these causes, but we need some help. The work will be done online and will probably take about 10 hours to completely research a cause.

Spread the word

There are a million things to do to help put in place our viral campaign to spread the word, and we need more people than we have. Want to help? You can make a big difference. Work from our office or at home, and whatever schedule you want.
